I got a good one!

So it is a little late. But this Saturday at work I was back in the office talking to my manager Tim, while waiting for Taylor to finish his closing duties. Tim was counting the Bar's Cash drawer, and I noticed the huge stack of credit cards that have been left at Saltgrass. I asked Tim if they just keep the credit cards for ever or what they do with the things because I feel like they just multiply and the stack never gets smaller. He told me they keep them for 6 months, so I picked up the stack and started going through and picking out the ones that they had that were expired and was putting them down in front of Tim. So he started cutting up the ones that were expired and then got tried of doing that so he was like ok put them down. But I, of course, kept going just to get on his nerves. So then he acted like he was going to cut my apron and I didn't know what he was doing to I quickly put my hand down and.. RIGHT IN THE SCISSORS!!! OUCH!! I grabbed my finger and started jumping around and then Tim asked did I get you? What it felt like to me was a bone on bone so I just opened my hand to show him and there was a pool of blood! YIKES! So my finger just kept bleeding and bleeding and bleeding, So then Tim started putting band-aid after band-aid on my finger and it just kept bleeding. So I went out to show Taylor and he basically just told me to suck it up. But I really thought it was worse than Taylor made it out to be. So, Taylor finished and as we started walking to our cars I asked him if he thought I should go to the ER. He said well what do you think? With all of your experience and knowledge would you tell someone to go to the ER? I said yes. So he was like UGH ok lets go rinse it at home and make a final decision. So we did. and I called my mom and she said that she thought I should. So I went in the house and took of the 7 layers of band-aids and found that my finger had bleed through all 7 layers. So I tried to wipe it off a little and just really decided that I needed to go to the ER. So I told Taylor and we changed and off we went. Taylor had called Tim to tell him and see if we couldn't get Saltgrass to pay for the visit but Tim said it would be way too much of a hassle to do that and that he would just pay out of pocket since it was his fault. So we got to the ER and signed it and were quickly pulled back. After 45 min. of waiting in a room with no light turned on the RN came in and then the PA showed up. They decided that I needed stitches and since I couldn't decide if I had my tetanus shot in the past 10 years they had to get me one of those too.... So we waited for all kinds of things but, when all was said and done I Laura Cannon Piland had to get 5 stitches in my finger (and I watched them stitch me...It was AWESOME!!) and the cut is right at the top knuckle of my left ring finger so I have to wear a splint to keep it straight so I don't tear the stitches out. I wanted to put up pictures but I didn't want to offend or gross anyone out. So if you are a freak like me and wanna see it I will send them to you.
